Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri has been crowned Miss World 2025, marking the nation's first-ever victory in the prestigious pageant's 72-year history. The grand finale took place on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India, featuring 108 contestants from around the globe.
Opal, a Political Science major at Thammasat University, is trilingual and hails from Phuket. She received the crown from the outgoing Miss World, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic.
